History

The TA-75 Aircraft tug is a gas powered low profile Aircraft Tractor that can tow up to 75,000 lbs. This TA-75 has a gas Chrysler V8 engine with an automatic transmission. The low profile of the vehicle is designed to easily and efficiently move aircraft around an airport or factory setting.

 

Acquired by the Connecticut Air & Space Center over 14 years ago, the tug has become a vital asset to the operations at the museum, towing aircraft, carts, and trailers around when needed.
